I just had dinner with my sorority family.  It was bittersweet — I love those girls, and I love many of the things that came with being a part of that house as a whole.  But no matter how much I miss it, I cannot bring myself to regret my decision to disaffiliate.  I don’t know if it’s denial or deep-rooted knowledge that it was the right thing to do.  Regardless, I think that I have finally made peace with all that has happened, for better or for worse.  Part of me will always miss it, and I think that this song sums up my feelings better than I ever could.
